  2. Under FORMAT pull down list, select Adobe Illustrator (.AI) (preferred) or "Encapsulated Postscript (.EPS)

Need to export CDR files as EPS and include original support files for all. IMPORTANT- REGARDING FONTS: We do not have all Corel fonts, so make sure in your conversion that in Export Text the "CURVES" option is selected.

POSTSCRIPT (EPS) FILES

These files can be accepted in several different formats. Whenever possible, design the file to the size it will be printed.

OUTLINE YOUR FONTS!

When option available, save as ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR v. 3.0 postscript file.
If not available, save as standard EPS file.

Some color shift may occur during importing process. Use postscript files only if color matching is not critical. Always provide a color rendering with your disk so we can see final color output desired.

RESOLUTION:

Output resolution is essential to image integrity, especially if you want to increase the size of the image. Resolution is directly related to final output size required. Set up files in CMYK at a 1:1 ratio, with resolution set at 150-300 dpi, minimum. 300 dpi resolution is preferred, but not always practical. You may need to compress image first, before e mailing or in order to copy to diskette. See "Compression" below. Scale your desired resolution to meet the final output size.

GIFs or JPEGS taken from the web are NOT suitable for sign output. Such files are fine for viewing purposes online, but not for our process.

COMPRESSION RECOMMENDED:

Before e mailing with a compression utility, like WinZIP, WinRAR or Stuffit . Most files which are properly set up, and sent as an e-mail attachment may expedite production turnaround time.

UPLOADING FILES ON THE INTERNET:

A maximum of 7 MB in may be uploaded to our e-mail address 24 hours a day or you can use FTP or the online file transfer page.

ACCEPTED FILE STORAGE MEDIUMS:

CD Rom, Floppy, Iomega Zip
